Alex Hernandez, M.A.

Media and policy analyst.

Currently a second-year PhD student in the School of Journalism and Media at UT Austin, Alex has worked in both private and public sectors, informing business and policy decisions across industries. He’s presented research at major media conferences, including as part of the Leaders of Tomorrow 2022 (St. Gallen, Switzerland), and shared his insights in news publications both in Mexico and the United States.

He seeks to improve the information economy with the goal of fostering a sustainable democracy.
